I say Deejayed, but actually we were all a bit over time, so we only played a few songs, and [as there's four of us and our musical tastes are a BIT different] it was basically a half hour musical ARGUMENT between us. This is what we possibly might have played

LUKE made this little number. It looks PROPER to us, no shoddy paintwork there, and he gets bonus points for having an ORC on it. YES! Orcs rock...



JAMES made this one when he came to the Social gig in Nottingham. My camera's shit, they're not really plague ridden zombies, and Tobias's hair doesn't really glow green, but the poor exposure of my photos just show how BRIGHT this t-shirt was...

Look! We got in the NME again! They think we sound like Pop Will Eat Itself, only better. Or Enter Shikari, only better. They're wrong, but we're not complaining...

Shit, we played All You Can Eat last night. It was WEIRD. There was paint involved. And make up. And, as Dan bulletined just after soundcheck, "Jesus, you should see the size of the rider. I am going to s/h/i/t/f/a/c/e myself. They should call it All You Can Drink. We got painted on quite a bit. Dan was wrapped in cling film and painted on. He looked like this



These people are the people who's fault it was. Blame Kate and Liz.




Then we played drunkenly for about 20 mins, as fast as we could so we could fit as many songs in a possible. There were bags. The music was terrible 90s rave. Not 'cream of the decade' good 90s rave. It sounded like the music policy was "Play Any 90s Stuff, It's In At The Moment And We're All Fucked Anyway So No-one Will Care If You Play Utter Trash Like Zombie Nation And Rednex". Yeah. That was the policy.

Anyway, apart from that it was great. And we liked it. And people we liked were there. Like ANITA and NAOMI// [note slashes] and TOM PAIN [he was a bit knackered] and NAOMI [note lack of slashes] and ELLIE and stuff

We're on the road then, hmmm, when I think of 'road' in this context I imagine the violent outback highway of Mad Max 2 (also released in the U.S. as 'The Road Warrior') with mohawked Australian men with people tied to the front of their cars and hot bondage women tagging along, y'know, for kicks. I especially think of this hostile situation when I think of Hull--
